From Leonard Maltin's Movie and Video Guide, "Powerhouse cast in yarn of one-armed man (Tracy) uncovering skeleton in Western town's closet. Borgnine memorable as slimy heavy. Millard Kaufman expertly adapted Howard Breslin's story 'Bad Time At Hondo.' Excellent use of Cinemascope." I have never seen this movie but it sure does have a great cast of actors. Anne Francis is another one of my mom's favorite actresses.
