BEADRA Paper Doll by LaVerne, 1982

This is one of three paper dolls I have by LaVerne, the other two are too large to fit on my scanner. The dolls have great expressive faces. I bought the paper dolls in 2001 at, where else, Half-Price Books. The label reads "LaVerne, VELB Associates, P.O. Box 1212, Bellevue, WA, 98009."

Love this paper doll. I have two other paper dolls by LaVerne. She published the quarterly publication Doll-E-Gram during the 1990s. I was a contributing writer during 1998-1999.

I collect black paper dolls. Have you blogged about any others?

Thanks!

Thank you for the info. I do not have many black paper dolls, only around a dozen. I posted Frances from Wee Wisdom today. Lucy
