Marlo Thomas as THAT GIRL
Another piece of my childhood. I remember watching THAT GIRL when I was a little girl. I thought Marlo Thomas was very beautiful and she had a great wardrobe - all those hats! These paper dolls are beautifully drawn. I am missing a lot of the clothing. I sure had a lot of fun playing with these dolls. "Oh, Donald!"

Dottie, a prize winning paper doll by Julie Mae, age 15, appeared in the Aunt Elsie Newspaper Magazine on October 06, 1935. Carrie, a prize winning paper doll by Laura, age 15, appeared on May 05, 1935.

"Brother" Paper Doll from Modern Fairy Tale Cutouts, 1940

I really enjoy coloring the Modern Fairy Tale and Modern Mother Goose series of paper dolls drawn by Addie Roscoe Woodruff. This is the "Brother" paper doll from the fairy tale "Brother and Sister" and it appeared in newspapers in 1940.
GLORIA By Julian Ollendorff, 1930

This newspaper paper doll accompanied a daily serial entitled "Gloria" that ran in Missouri newspapers in December of 1930. The paper doll "Gloria" was beautifully drawn by Julian Ollendorff and I was very excited when I found it in the newspaper archives.
