Mostly Paper Dolls

Most of the paper dolls on this site are from newspaper archives. All newspaper items have been copied in black and white. I have added color to some of the paper dolls. All of the coloring contests for movies and from ads were found searching through newspapers.

Juanita Hamel, Illustrator, 1925 Spring Flowers

Old newspapers have beautiful illustrations. Spring Flowers by Juanita Hamel is an example of the lovely artwork by newspaper illustrators. Her work appeared almost daily in some newspapers in the 1920's and 1930's.
