Canadian Color Cut-Out Doll Contest, 1938

This young man paper doll represents Alberta.

This young lady paper doll represents Nova Scotia.

This "CANADIAN COLOR CUT-OUT DOLL CONTEST" ran in The Star Weekly, February of 1938. There were ten dolls in all. Each doll was designed to represent a province of Canada and The North West Territories. I only have these two dolls from the contest.

Albuquerque Starring Randolph Scott, 1948

A coloring contest for the movie "Albuquerque" that appeared in newspapers in May of 1948. The movie starred Randolph Scott, Barbara Britton, Gabby Hayes, Lon Chaney Jr, Russell Hayden and Catherine Craig. The movie was directed by Ray Enright. The above scene to be colored features Randolph Scott and Catherine Craig.
