Little Red Riding Hood, Junior Editors, 1955

"Color the picture carefully and remember to give the little girl her red cape and hood. Paste the picture on stiff paper and cut it out along the heavy dark lines. Also cut along the dark lines on the top back part of Little Red Riding Hood's basket. Then you can slip the end of the flowers under the lid so she can carry them safely to her grandmother. Fold back the two side parts along the dotted lines and Red Riding Hood will stand up."

"Color the wolf brown, and make his pants and hat green and his jacket a light purple. Paste page on stiff paper and cut out the wolf and the arm along the dark outside lines, including the dark line on top of his right foot. So the wolf can tip his hat fasten the arm to his shoulder by placing a small fastener through the two dark holes. Fold back the right side of the picture along the dotted line so the wolf will stand up."

"Color the cottage and the two smaller pictures as you wish. Paste the page on stiff paper and cut it out along heavy lines, including the dark lines around the door and the window. Fold the door and window sides forward. Paste the drawing marked A behind the door opening. Paste the drawing marked B behind the open window. Fold back sides of the house along dotted lines and it will stand up."

"You can color the picture any way you wish. Paste the page on stiff paper and cut out the large drawing and the wolf's head. Slit the heavy line on the pillow just below the letter G and slip the tab at the bottom of the wolf's head into it. Fold back the sides of the picture along the dotted lines and the bed will stand up."

"After coloring the picture, paste it on stiff paper and cut the two parts along the heavy outside lines. To make the grandmother stand fold under the flap at her feet along the dotted line. Fold back the section marked X and paste it behind the end of the bench on which you see a Y."
