This tree ornament features characters from the comic strip "Morty Meekle". I do not know anything about this comic strip.
This candy cane ornament features characters from the comic strip "Freckles and His Friends". This comic strip was about Freckles McGoosey and all his friends, which were many, growing up in the quiet midwestern town of Shadyside. This strip featured paper dolls in the 1930's. Merrill Blosser created "Freckles" in 1915 and the strip ran until 1973.These two ornaments go with the Alley Oop and Priscilla's Pop ornaments that were posted in September.

The Walt Disney version of the book by Johann Wyss. The movie starred John Mills, Dorothy McGuire, James MacArthur, Janet Munro, Sessue Hayakawa, Tommy Kirk and Kevin Corcoran.
